Summary:  "Is Google Making Us Stupid?" By Nicholas Carr claims that technology is negatively effecting our brains. The article starts off by telling us how the Internet is a resource that we can use for almost anything. As a result, we are becoming dependent upon it. He claims that technology is a huge distraction in our lives by saying it changes how we mentally process information to seek more "shortcuts".We are becoming too used to being able to access information faster and more conveniently. According to Nicholas, technology is becoming more important than people. He says Google is trying to invent an artificial brain to replace our slow brains that we have. Finally he wraps up the article when he states that it a mistake to rely on computers.
Response:  I agree with Nicholas Carr that the internet is changing our lives. I think the Internet  has changed my expectation of receiving information to have it quickly and with little or not effort. What really stood out to me was when Bruce said that he couldn't even read a 4 paragraph blog post and that he had to skim it. i was stunned when he said that because he said something I do. At that moment I was honestly thinking that google is making us stupid.
